2015-'16 Housing Market Forecast, San Bernardino County

On June 19th 2015 BIA Baldy View hosted the second annual Housing Policy Conference. The event was capped off by a presentation from Real Estate Economics’ (REE), Mark Boud. The study, entitled “Housing Market Forecast and The Economic Impact of New Home Construction in San Bernardino County, California,” outlined the fiscal impact of new home development over the next two years. In the study REE concluded that San Bernardino County has a chronic under supply of new homes, which if addressed properly has the potential to add over one billion dollars of economic activity to the county in the next two years.
